I was born and raised in the Walnut Creek area. My grandparents were a huge part of my childhood, shaping who I am today. At age ten we relocated to Red Bluff, where I enjoyed school and sports, especially basketball.
Education
I attended Shasta College, playing for the Knight’s basketball team. Throughout high school and College I enjoyed coaching students at basketball camps. I went to Chico State majoring in Computer Information Systems, soon I changed my major realizing my passion was to work helping children. I received a Bachelor’s Degree, Teaching Credential, Masters Degree and Administrative Services Credential through Simpson University.
Career
I have spent the last fifteen years teaching a variety of grades K-12 and coaching basketball. I have worked for the Rowell Family Empowerment’s Get Set summer program. I was an assistant principal at PACE Academy before becoming the principal at Rother.
Life Outside of School
My wife and I have four children who keep us busy with a variety of activities and interests. Some of my favorite activities include beach volleyball, basketball, soccer, pilates, and crossfit. I enjoy helping others be their best.
