About ACE - Afterschool Community Education:

Enterprise Elementary School District's ACE Program is housed at six participating school sites: Alta Mesa Elementary School, Lassen View Elementary School, Mistletoe School, Rother Elementary School, Shasta Meadows Elementary School, and Parsons Junior High School.

The first priority of the ACE program at each site is to assist the students with homework assignments and connect with teachers regarding any concerns, in order to offer support with the curriculum. Each site has developed a curriculum tailored to meet the needs and interests of its individual student population. Each child also receives a nutritious snack every day.

Some of the enrichment and youth development activities include: arts and crafts, computer fun, music instruction, dance instruction, cooking, and much more!

We employ qualified ESSA-compliant individuals, and we welcome you to take a tour of the facility. Please contact the Program Director to schedule a program tour.

The program, a collaborative effort on behalf of the school district, public and private agencies, parents, and local community members, offers extensive homework and tutoring sessions as well as a variety of enrichment activities.

Designed to improve student achievement and test scores while decreasing violence and juvenile crime, the program encourages a holistic approach to education and offers a complete menu of services to the students. Areas of focus include implementing integrated academic, health, and social services, recreational and cultural programs, experiences with technology, and providing a variety of enrichment activities for all students.

Program hours are from the time school is dismissed until 6:00p.m., Monday through Friday.

The ACE program is funded, in part, by a grant from After School Education and Safety (ASES), a part of the California Department of Education. For more information about the ASES program, please click here.

If you have questions or need additional information about the ACE program, please contact 530-224-4223.
